Wayne Burke was the co-owner and co-founder of Brazos Builders, Inc. He was the heart and soul of this family business. Wayne served as the company’s Vice President and Chief Estimator and used his 5 decades worth of experience to make Brazos Builders what it is today. He was a master negotiator, exhibiting a business approach and communication style that made him an invaluable asset and friend to his business clients, staff, and associates. He was known for orchestrating a symphony, balancing work while dedicating time for family, friends, and golf! Wayne had a passion for music – he loved listening to records in his music room and he attended several hundred concerts over the course of his life. He holds a special place in the hearts of all that knew him, but especially in the hearts of his 2 daughters, Leacia Brilliant and Jana Burke and his grandson, Gavin Copeland.
